Health Center 2022
The Health Center Week 2022 was celebrated by LIFQHC from August 8th to August 12th. The event was held at the clinics located in Hempstead, Roosevelt, Freeport, Westbury, and Elmont. The purpose of this celebration was to inform
the community about the different programs and services they could have access to and how they could benefit from them.

Mpox is a virus that can cause a painful rash. It spreads mostly through prolonged skin-to-skin contact, especially sexual contact. It can also be spread by touching items that someone with mpox has touched.
RPSSI Out In the Community
This Spring, the RPSSI Nassau Program promoted the prevention and education of HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) at several community events in Nassau County including the Westbury Street Fair on May 21st, Nick Cannon’s Wild & Out Show at Jones Beach Theater on June 2nd, the Richard M. Brodsky Foundation AIDS Cancer Run Walk on June 12th and PFY’s Pride After Dark on June 21st.
